This switch does everything it is meant to. Just curious about it has an input power jack which is not necessary for it to work (which is a pro). It switches manually using its selector button or the RC and also automatically which a find very convenient. I have it hooked to my WD TV Live media player and my Pioneer DVD player. I am pretty happy with the price as well. Recommended!

This device is excellent. It expanded the number of devices I can add to my plasma TV from 2 to 4. And if I get another I can have 6 HDMI devices. It's a no-brainer to set up, comes with easy instructions, a lengthy cable if you need some reach, the remote it comes with works great - plug it in and go. All my devices work and it's easy to switch between them.
I'd buy it again if I needed one for further expansion. I have it more than 6 months now, it's one of those invisible items that just does its job. Recommended.

This unit is small (about 2"x3") and it works as advertised. If you have been reading all the positive reviews, they are all correct. I didn't even need the remote that they supplied. I just hope it is sturdy enough for the long haul. Buy it!

I use this to switch between my PS3 and DVD player, on my TV's 2nd HDMI input (the first one is being used by my FiOS box). It works great. There's a 5V DC jack on it, but you don't need it to use it (this doesn't come with a DC wall adapter anyway); it works without external power.
Overall, this is a cheap, effective way to switch between HDMI devices.

This device worked as advertised right out of the box. I primarily wanted a no-hassle HDMI switcher and this works as advertised.
Pro:
- Small & compact (smaller than it even looks in the picture)
- Doesn't require an additional power plug
- Auto-Switch (see below)
- Allows you to use your own HDMI cable to plug into the TV (Pro & Con actually, see below)
Con:
- It does not have it's own HDMI cable like you would get with an HDMI pigtail switch. On the other hand, with the pigtail switch if the HDMI cable ever went faulty you couldn't swap in a new one like you could with this. So it just depends on how much flexibility you want to be able to use your own cable.
- Auto Switch works fine with the video but sometime it requires you to cycle through it once to get the audio back which defeats the purpose of an auto-switch....use the remote and it's not a problem.
